By now I am sure everyone knows that Dame Elizabeth Taylor died yesterday aged 79. Some would say her death pulls the final curtain on a glamourous golden era of filmmaking. Often attention is always placed more on her dramatic personal life than her dramatic performances. It shouldn’t, however, be neglected that she contributed to some marvelous films (Cat On a Hot Tin Roof, Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Butterfield 8, and Suddenly, Last Summer). Elizabeth Taylor held an air of razzle and dressed with dazzle, a true beauty and most stylish Dame.

After this post on …And God Created Woman I wanted to take another look at Brigitte Bardot and her bike. The bicycle is one of the iconic european symbols. I like how Juliette rides in pencil skirts and bare feet but never looks “undone”. Here is another of Bardot on her bike:
