By now I am sure everyone knows that Dame Elizabeth Taylor died yesterday aged 79. Some would say her death pulls the final curtain on a glamourous golden era of filmmaking. Often attention is always placed more  on her dramatic personal life than her dramatic performances. It shouldn’t, however, be neglected that she contributed to some marvelous films (Cat On a Hot Tin Roof, Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Butterfield 8, and Suddenly, Last Summer). Elizabeth Taylor held an air of razzle and dressed with dazzle, a true beauty and most stylish Dame.

Taking A Rain Check

fashion umbrellas, trendy umbrellas, umbrellas for sale

Since soaking in The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, I’ve been hunting the web for the perfect umbrella…or two. If you’ve seen the Wellington winds, you’ll know it is daring to even attempt to “do the umbrella”. Nevertheless, I’m too tempted by these polka dots to not at least try. Where else can I find a unique brelly!!? And galoshes to match!!!

Goodbye Summer
